Jon's Commentary:

Posted December 10, 2021 (user submitted March 29, 2013)

The West Oaks Mall in Ocoee, Florida (Old web site is dying a very slow death. It is never very busy and a lot of the stores are empty. A few years ago one of the anchors closed up (Belk) and other than a short lived furniture clearance store has sat empty ever since. Back in January another anchor, Sears, closed its doors. The mall was barely surviving before and now with half of its anchors gone no way it'll survive. Most all of the national chains have closed their locations there in favor of locations at the better malls in the area.
